Ellis Park wants similar race dates for 2012
Courtesy Evansville Courier and Press. Ellis Park has requested similar race dates for next summer, though track owner Ron Geary won’t reveal the numbers until approval is made by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. Saturday August 20 is Armed Forces Day
All Military personnel past and present will be treated to special discounts at all food and beverage stands (except for alcohol), and are eligible to register for one of nine $100 wagers given away through the day. One $100 wager for military personal given away before each race.
