This Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 31st and September 1st, test your handicapping skills in the NTRA’s National Handicapping Championship qualifier:

“The BIG One.”

Covering two days, the contest will mirror the format of the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC), the industry’s recognized and pre-eminent annual national championship of handicapping. It will award the top 10 finishers qualifying packages to the 2014 NHC, expected to be held in January, 2014, in Las Vegas. With the estimated purse of $300,000, it would become the second-richest handicapping contest on the NHC Tour, second only to the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge.

The majority of qualifying seats to “The Big One” will be made available exclusively at Horsetourneys.com, Ellis Park’s proprietary handicapping contest website.
